The Anderson University athletics department have named Michael Sweigart as the 2026 Anderson Outstanding Senior Male Athlete and Ella Frantz as the 2026 Anderson Outstanding Senior Female Athlete.
The fifth-seeded Anderson University women’s tennis team (6-11) fell to fourth-seeded Earlham College (13-5) in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament Quarterfinals 5-2 on Tuesday in Richmond.

Baseball swept Franklin College with a pair of 4-2 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) victories as Trey Dorton tallied his 200th career hit on Saturday at Don Brandon Field. Men’s Tennis and Women’s Tennis each cruised past Manchester University 7-0 in HCAC action in North Manchester. During the Indiana D-III Championships in Greencastle, Men’s Track & Field took fifth and Women’s Track & Field placed eighth. Softball fell to Franklin by scores of 13-3 in six innings and 5-4 in HCAC action at the Raven Softball Field.
