Anderson University men’s track and field senior Michael Sweigart captured first place in the hammer with a throw of 58.09 meters (190 feet, 7 inches) during the two-day Little State Championships, which concluded on Saturday in Marion. Men’s Track & Field took 14th place in the team standings. Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (9-8, 4-1) secured a 5-2 victory against the Anderson University women’s tennis team (6-9, 3-3) during Saturday’s Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup at the Terre Haute Tennis & Pickleball Center in Terre Haute. In a battle for first place in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) standings, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (11-7, 5-0) topped the Anderson University men’s tennis team (8-8, 5-1) by a score of 6-1 during Saturday’s HCAC matchup at the Terre Haute Tennis & Pickleball Center in Terre Haute. After Day 1 of the Earlham Spring Invitational on Saturday in Richmond, Women's Golf sits in third place and Men's Golf sits in seventh place.

Baseball swept Franklin College with a pair of 4-2 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) victories as Trey Dorton tallied his 200th career hit on Saturday at Don Brandon Field. Men’s Tennis and Women’s Tennis each cruised past Manchester University 7-0 in HCAC action in North Manchester. During the Indiana D-III Championships in Greencastle, Men’s Track & Field took fifth and Women’s Track & Field placed eighth. Softball fell to Franklin by scores of 13-3 in six innings and 5-4 in HCAC action at the Raven Softball Field.

Top-seeded Transylvania University battled past second-seeded Men’s Basketball by a score of 91-79 in the HCAC Tournament Championship on Saturday in Lexington, Ky. Earlham College grinded out a 4-3 victory against Women’s Tennis during Saturday’s HCAC matchup at the Community Sport & Wellness Center in Pendleton.

The Anderson University men and women’s track and field teams each finished seventh place in The Last Roar on Saturday in Cincinnati. Kalamazoo College shut out the Anderson University men’s tennis team 7-0 on Saturday at the Markin Tennis Center in Kalamazoo, Mich.
